CORE VALUES OF OUR MINISTRY

 

• We believe the teaching and preaching of God’s Word is what transforms lives and the church. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

 

• We believe that those without Christ matter to God.  Therefore, we believe in working with God to bring people to the saving knowledge of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  (Acts 1:6; Matthew 28:19-20)

 

• We believe that Missions is paramount and should be emphasized within our church in both prayer and financial support of missions (Home & Foreign).  We encourage our members to seek God’s will in short & long-term missionary service.  2 Cor. 8:1-7)

 

• We believe our church should be unified in our purpose, direction as well as our commitment to Christ. 

 

• We believe our church should create an atmosphere of love and acceptance and it should be demonstrated in each of our lives. 

 

• We believe our church should be innovative in reaching a changing society with the unchanging message of God’s Word.

 

• We believe in children and youth ministries, not just as a conduit to adults, but see children and youth as a vital part of God’s family.

 

• We believe it is the Christians responsibility to support the church through the giving of their time, talents and treasures.

 

• We believe in the power of prayer and will commit ourselves to seeking God and His will in the decisions that we make.

 

• We believe that discipleship and fellowship is crucial in the life of the believer.  Therefore, we’ll endeavor to help all of us grow spiritually and closer to God as well as each other.
